Press Win+R, enter “netplwiz“, which will open the “User Accounts” window.Netplwizisa Windows utility tool for managing user accounts. b. Check the option for “Users must enter a username and password to use this computer” and click Apply. c. Restart your computer and the system will prompt you to enter your pass word at the login screen. 2. How to Set a password with your screensaver. a. Set the screensaver pass word in WindowsVista,7, 8,10,and11 b. Press the -Windows key type Change screen saver, then press Enter. c. In the Screensaver Settings window, check the box On resume, display log on screen(A). d. Click Apply(B),then OK(C).
3. To turn on the firewall Go to Start and open Control Panel. Select System and Security > Windows Defender Firewall.
Choose Turn Windows Firewall on or off. Select Turn on Windows Firewall for do main, private, and public network settings. 4. To disable the remote access a. Type “remote settings” into the Cortana search box. Select “Allow remote access to your computer”.... b. Check “Don't Allow Remote Connections” to this Computer. Under Account type, select Administrator, and then select OK. d. Sign in with the new administrator account. 10. Set up password manager a. Download a Password Manager Program. I would start on your desktop computer since that’s going to be the easiest to set things up on.... b. Create a Master Password for Your Vault....
c. Start Logging in to Your Accounts....
d. Begin to Change Your Passwords.
